Correct option is (c) 68°

We know that the diagonals of rectangles are equal and bisect each other.

∴ AC = BD

\(\frac 12\) AC = \(\frac 12\)BD  [dividing both sides by 2]

OA = OB  [Since, O is the mid-point of AC and BD]

∠2 = ∠1 = 34 [angles opposite to equal sides are equal]

We know that exterior angles is equal to the sum of two opposite interior angles.

In △AOB, we have

∠3 = ∠1 + ∠2  [Exterior angle property]

∴ ∠3 = 34 + 34= 68

Hence, the acute angle between the diagonals is 68.
