Best answer

Correct option is (c) 33.25

\(\frac{\text{Wt. of metal oxide}}{\text{Wt. of metal chloride}} = \frac{\text{Eq. wt. of metal + Eq. wt. of O}}{\text{Eq. wt. of metal + Eq. wt. of Cl}}\)

\(\frac 35 = \frac{E +8}{E + 35.5}\)

5E + 40 = 3E + 106.5

2E = 66.5

E = 33.25
