  \(\begin{vmatrix}a-b-c&2a&2a\\ 2b&b-c-a&2b\\ 2c&2c&c-a-b\end{vmatrix}\) 

R1 के सापेक्ष विस्तार करने पर,

= (a + b + c) [( – b – c – a) ( – c – a – b) – 0]

= (a + b + c) (b + c + a) (c + a + b)

= (a + b + c)3

= R.H.S.
