L.H.S. = \(\begin{vmatrix}a&a+b&a+2b\\ a+2b&a&a+b\\ a+b&a+2b&a\end{vmatrix}\)

 

अब C के सापेक्ष प्रसार करने पर,

= 3(a + b) [2b2+ b2]

= 3(a + b) x 3b2

= 9(a + b)b2

= RH.S.
