L.H.S. = \(\begin{vmatrix}x+4&2x&2x\\2x&x+4&2x\\2x&2x&x+4\end{vmatrix}\)

 

R1 के सापेक्ष प्रसार करने पर,

= (5x + 4) [(x – 4)2 – 0]

= (5x + 4) (x – 4)2

= R.H.S.
